A Westwood Alleycat, Gingerbeer George melted Wilamina’s heart the moment he showed up at her door. George is one of a handful of kitties that are enduring the elements of mountain living, in The House of Wormwood’s alleyway. In or under neighboring sheds, skids, or cliche tire piles and abandoned trucks, alongside the skunks and raccoons, George has been surviving mountain living and all that entails. It is very dangerous for kitties in Westwood.
Shortly after Wilamina settled in, George very willingly went to the vet for “all the things.”
He is a healthy 3-5 year old Gingerboy, bubbly and fun, playful and fantastic, and loves Wilamina very much. She is very happy to have her first outside kitty to garden with!
At night, George currently is brought indoors, into the small catch-all room, but will eventually move permanently into the new House of Wormwood’s Studio Barn, upon completion.
He simply gets into too many fights to stay outside for long.
All proceeds of George’s Catterie Collection Washwares & Wickwares goes towards building him a new home!
In the meantime, he enjoys his outside daytime, and coming into the warm, safe home of Wilamina’s mountain cottage, at night. During the snow months Wilamina will be figuring out a 24/7 solution for him and the TNR kitties she has already helped.
Although George’s rescue story may not be as dramatic as other rescue stories, which to be honest is a really good thing, this sweet boy is nonetheless a very important addition to Wilamina’s world, and a wonderful addition to the Catterie Collection!
