Aloysius Ash + SASHA SOOT: This brother and sister pair were only a few months old when abandoned in the country. Ash was a little less afraid, coming out from under the deck to say hello. He was very curious…and very hungry. Sasha was difficult to collect as she had sustained a few abscessing injuries. Once collected, Wilaminaʼs friends helped by calling numerous rescue shelters. No one would take them. After 20 shares on Facebook, these two were still unable to find a forever home, so Wilamina came to their rescue, providing them with a safe indoor home. Both have grown up to become talkative and delightful little friends, constantly bickering and wrestling, with a connection only siblings have.

Sasha, nicknamed “Sausage,” has put on quite a few extra pounds, so her diet has to accommodate her needs. She doesnʼt let her weight stop her though, as she is a terrific indoor hunter. Like her brother, Sasha is a real talker. She stretches out in the sun, resembling a seal and barks at the birds through the window. Wilamina and Sasha will go back and forth talking to each other for hours. It’s hilarious.
