Rescued August 2009

Sticks was found while on a walk in Lake County. He was just 7 weeks old, underweight, and very sick with an upper respiratory infection. After testing negative for diseases, Wilamina brought him into her home. After rehabilitating him, Sticks was fighting-fit once again. He was carefully introduced to the rest of the refugees. His first friend was Cotton, who gave him a warm welcome.

An exemplary patient, Sticks has recently been diagnosed with a heart murmur, mild heart disease, and swelling in the abdomen, for which he is carefully monitored. Sticks is Wilamina Wormwoodʼs best kitty friend and she is grateful every day she found him. He likes to be with her in the kitchen, while she makes soappe. Wilamina makes a safe little space for him to lie down while she works and sings to him.
